About Grace Church Loftus

We are a mixed group of people, from a variety of backgrounds, who have come to believe that all that the Bible says about Jesus is true. He is Lord of our lives and we seek to follow him day by day.

As well as worshipping God ourselves we are reaching out to Loftus and to the communities beyond with the Good News. We hope and pray that many more people, young and old will come to hear the message and receive it. We want everyone to be ready for the day when Jesus returns as judge.

The church is made up of adults and children of all ages and we worship together, following many of the principles of the Family Integrated Church movement.

Our Sunday services include old and new hymns and songs, Bible reading, prayers and a message from the Bible. Within an atmosphere of genuine reverence for God we encourage people to be honest about their joys and sorrows and about their successes and failures. We are seeking to be genuine disciples of Jesus - sinners saved by grace. We are not perfect but we long to be more like Jesus.

A Brief History

Grace Community Church began meeting together in April 2014. The church building on Deepdale Road became available, and has been our premises ever since.

Over the years we have seen God provide in many wonderful ways. We have been able to renovate parts of our buildings, including installing a new kitchen which makes it possible for us to eat together each week.

In recent years we have opened our church cafe, Grace Brew House, and a pregnancy support service which are both run by members of our church family.
